This is a plain-language draft. A lawyer has not reviewed it yet, and it will change before the app opens to the public.

This website

• This site does not use cookies, ads or tracking scripts.
• The site's lettering is served from this site. Your browser does not contact a separate font service to show it.
• Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
• If you email us about the private test, we keep your email address and message so we can reply. We do not sell it or share it for marketing.

The BRTR app (when it opens)

To run trades, the app needs to store some information about you:

• Your account and profile, including the skills you offer.
• The offers and requests you post, and the trades you make.
• Your points balance and the history of points held and released.
• Messages you send in trade chats.
• Ratings and recommendations you give and receive.
• Reports and blocks, so we can keep members safe.

Other members can see your profile, your ratings and the recommendations written about you. They cannot see your email address.

You can delete your account from inside the app.

Still to decide before launch

• How long we keep data after an account is deleted.
• Which company checks member identity for the verified badge, and what they keep.
• What records tax rules may require us to keep about trades.
